The Opportunity

The HR Generalist plays a key role in shaping BLK & Bold’s people experience and culture. Reporting directly to the Chief Values Officer, this role combines strategic insight with hands-on execution across all areas of HR.

You’ll manage HR operations—including employee relations, benefits, and compliance—while also helping drive engagement, growth, and belonging within the organization.

Core Responsibilities

People Operations

• Manage daily HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
• Maintain HR records, systems, and compliance with regulations.
• Support payroll accuracy with Finance.

Culture & Engagement

• Foster a values-driven culture of inclusion and accountability.
• Lead engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications.
• Serve as a trusted partner and resource for employees.

Talent & Development

• Support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding.
• Identify employee growth and development opportunities.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a small to mid-sized company.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and drive results.
• HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
• Experience in a mission-driven or manufacturing environment a plus.
