We ordered a bunch of the limited edition beans from BLK & Bold to use as part of gifts we sent out to friends this holiday season, because we love the company, values and how they give back. We received a lot of great feedback around how great the coffee was so ended up purchasing a couple more bags for ourselves. We fell in love with this coffee and will definitely be making BLK & Bold our go-to moving forward!!
I vacillate between the Yirgacheffe and this Guji, but man this one delivers. If I had to drink this coffee every day for the rest of my life I'd be perfectly content. Sign of a good bean in my opinion. Light fruit for sure, with a hint of light choc as well. Nice roast
I should have considered the blend of this particular coffee as I remembered what my palate is. Fruity blends are my least favorite since I drink my coffee black. But it was and took on a different taste as I added whipped almond milk which made world of difference. I won't give any coffee I try a negative review unless the packaging or something aesthetic was off. I prefer Rise n Grnd but decided to try a limited brew. Love the company though. Keep it up for the culture.
